Miriam has been accepted into the University of Utah MSW program with an emphasis in International (Cross-Cultural) Mental Health and will be intruding on Adara's university experience again for the next two years. After she is done with her Master's Degree, she will be continuing another two years with the Ph.D. program and going into Social & Behavioral research. At least that is the plan.
Adara is continuing with her undergraduate in Anthropology and Pre-Med and will hopefully be entering medical school (if she gets in), about the same time or so that Miriam enters the Ph.D. program. It's like a Mother-Daughter race to be THE DOCTOR! Only... Adara has many more years ahead of her if she is going to become a surgeon. This summer Adara is hoping to train as an EMT in order to get some of her pre-med requirements done in medical and non-medical volunteer work. She's planning to set up a Relay for Life team if anyone is interested in joining!

Awesome! I'm sure you'll both learn a lot and be a magnificent support to each other along the way.
Wow! There are times when I think I could use a free mental health consultation. Would that be possible?
