General Family News

As winter moves to spring and Utah looks forward to summer, the Latours have many events, hopes and plans in the works.
Adara: Volunteer

Adara is going to Guatemala in July to do volunteer work.  The post previous to this one allows for people to make tax-deductible donations to help with the valuable work she is doing. The money goes to building schools and creating opportunities and providing education.  It helps with preserving culture and creating a healthy and safe place for people to live.  If you can donate or know of a business that can help, it would be appreciated!

Children in Guatemala

Isaac: Between jobs
Isaac is looking for a job to keep him busy this summer.  He is hoping to work at a summer camp, ranch or in some outdoor capacity. He's in need of some sun and some physical activity.  If you know of a job that might suit Isaac, let us know!
Elijah: Creative guy
Elijah is being awesome at playing the saxophone and performing on stage. He has a Jazz and Symphonic concert on May 17th at 7:30 p.m. and has been chosen to perform a Shakespearean monologue and other theatrical scenes on April 26th at 7:00 p.m. for a Showcase Presentation.
Miriam: Nerd
Miriam is graduating with her 3rd degree (Master's in Medical Social Work) on May 4th and, like Isaac, is looking for a job.  She will be taking the clinical therapy licensing exam on June 1st.

Dave: Great Dad and Husband
Dave is working hard as usual to support the Nerd, the Creative Guy, the Guy Between Jobs, and the Volunteer... so they can survive in the meantime.  He is also planning activities for the family this summer and about to celebrate his 47th birthday in a few days.
